13- 10th International Istanbul Biennial becomes colorful with Kalecolor!

Kalecolor, the leading company of the paint sector enlivens the 10th International Istanbul Biennial which is to be held between September 8th and November 4th by the Istanbul Culture and Art Association. Kalecolor’s support for culture and art will continue in the 10th International Istanbul Biennial.

Kalecolor being the paint sponsor of the International Istanbul Biennial which is to be organized for the 10th time by IKSV continues to give support to the art and the artist.

This year the 10th International Istanbul Biennial focuses on the urban facts and architectural reality as a way of revealing different cultural contexts and artistic views regarding the complex forms of modernity. Hou Hanru will be the curator of the Biennial which is going to emphasize the artistic production based on collective mind and the living process of having an interaction with the physical places. Kalecolor on the other hand, adds color to the exhibition places of the Istanbul Biennial which is going to be held between September 8th and November 4th. Warehouse number 3, certain stores in the Istanbul Drapers Bazaar and the formed designs acquire life with the modern colors of the new product series Kalia within Kalecolor’s category of hygienic paints. Moreover, SantralIstanbul whose paint sponsor is Kalecolor is acting as the host for the independent initiatives, the film program and the symposiums within the framework of the Biennial along with the Workshop and the Training Program Project Partnership. An area of 6.000 square meters in the warehouse, certain stores in the Istanbul Drapers Bazaar and the prepared stands are being painted with the matt white, grey and black paints as well as the colors blue, yellow and red which are selected from among the color swatch card of Kalecolor Kalia by the curator Hou Hanru. The painting operations are being performed again by the Kalecolor’s specialist staff the Familiar Service. Familiar Service consisting of certified paint masters that are experts in their jobs is working on the exhibition places with great accuracy.
